How I made a call to action on my website

In both my magazine and website I made calls to action so that my audience would be directed into visiting the other media product.

For the website I created a page on the website where you could buy the magazine from the website including a special cheaper offer to subscribe to the magazine, incentivising online readers to buy the magazine for themselves. Additionally to point readers to this page I provide links across the website direct viewers to this page. One of these is on the front page which is a good place to put a link since it means all readers who go onto the website will be able to see the link to the store page.

The other link I provide is on extracts of articles that would be in my magazine. I put the link here because if the reader was interested in reading more from the interviews then they would have to buy the magazine. So by giving them a taster of the writing that would be in the magazine the reader could have a much better idea if they wanted to purchase it.
