As part of my planning I have found 5 locations to use for my 'urban' project, my plan is to use these locations and take all the shots I want to include at these locations. I have chosen these locations as they are bright and colourful and have a lot of urban art which will make the shot more bright and colourful which was my artistic intention.

The locations I choose were all in Bristol. This is because I know Bristol quite well and I have visited all of these locations before and additionally is a city which is very well known for it's striking Urban art which is plentiful across the city which meant I had a lot of options for being able to take photos . Additionally since all of these locations were accessible to the public I wouldn't need to ask for permission to take photos on those locations. Since I never had the opportunity to visit Bristol to take photos of these locations before my photo shoot I used google as a way to analyse potential angles to take photos from and plan a route to walk. This ended up being my final plan:

I used this location because I thought the blue ocean could be very good as a background for the photo

After working out where I was going to shoot my photos I created a time schedule from the morning until going to Bristol. I then created a route from Bristol Temple Meads to Foster street to evaluate realistically what the time would be from going from place to place

After this in the week before the photo shoot I began drawing rough sketches of what I wanted to take photos of. By doing this I was able to get a clear idea of how I was going to direct my model which was important since we were using busy public places and we didn't know how much time we were going to have.

I also worked with my model Lewis to find cloths which could be appropriate to use for the photoshoot and I decided to use these clothes. I selected this outfit because I wanted the music artist "prophet" to be reflected as a musical artist who is creative and trendy. For this reason I wanted him to dress in a similar way to how someone with an artistic personality would dress and for this reason I felt a baggy shirt, John Lennon sunglasses and a beanie would be a good style choice since this is a aesthetic which a lot of people with artistic personalities would dress like.
